**Psychedelic Guide & Healing Advocate**
I'm currently Based in Ghana, West Africa where I specialize in Ayahuasca guidance and complementary healing modalities. I brew Ayahuasca myself using only Caapi Vine and Chacruna leaves grown in Ghana.
I curate 1to1 and group ceremonies in Ghana, Spain and internationally
I'm an vocal advocate of psychedelics and have shared insights at Breaking Convention, Oxford University, UCL, and various international platforms. I serve on Breaking Convention's management board and founded African Spiritual Practices Events and Retreats.
My journey began when traditional interventions failed my teenage son after he was groomed into drug dealing in London. Through psychedelics and African spiritual practices, we found healing where conventional approaches couldn't reach. Today, I bridge ancestral wisdom with contemporary healing—creating pathways to transformation for others.

The Three Levels of Transformation
Our approach addresses healing at three interconnected levels: 1. Ancestral Healing We recognize that many patterns, beliefs, and even traumas are inherited through our lineage. Working with plant medicine within an African spiritual framework creates opportunities to identify, understand, and release these ancestral patterns. This level of healing extends beyond the individual, creating ripples of wellness that flow backward to honor ancestors and forward to liberate future generations. 2. Personal Liberation At the individual level, our ceremonies and practices facilitate the release of limiting beliefs, emotional wounds, and energetic blockages that prevent you from experiencing your full potential. Through carefully guided plant medicine journeys and complementary practices, you gain access to parts of yourself that may have been hidden or suppressed, integrating these aspects into a more complete sense of self. 3. Collective Awakening We believe individual healing contributes to collective transformation. Each person who undertakes this work becomes a vessel for greater awareness, compassion, and wisdom in their communities. Our retreats foster not only personal breakthrough but also a sense of responsibility to bring this awakened consciousness into relationship with the wider world.
The Traditions We Work With
Central to our philosophy is the understanding that the body holds profound wisdom. Rather than privileging intellectual insight, our approach honors somatic intelligence—the knowledge stored in your tissues, nervous system, and energetic field. Through plant medicine experiences, waterfall cleansing ceremonies, and Trauma Release Exercises, we help you access and interpret the body's messages, transforming physical sensation into meaningful guidance for your life journey. The Traditions We Work With Our approach weaves together several ancient traditions, honoring their unique contributions while recognizing the common threads that connect them: West African Spiritual Technologies The foundation of our work rests in West African spiritual systems, particularly those of the Akan and Dagomba peoples of Ghana. These traditions offer sophisticated understandings of the relationship between the visible and invisible worlds, providing powerful technologies for: Ancestral communication and healing Elemental balancing through water, earth, fire, and air Rhythm as medicine through drumming and movement Community-based healing protocols Our facilitation team has received proper initiation and permission to share these practices, ensuring they are transmitted with both authenticity and respect. Amazonian Plant Wisdom We work with the sacred plant medicine Ayahuasca in a way that honors its Amazonian origins while creating bridges to African spiritual technologies. Our approach to this medicine focuses on: Careful preparation of both body and spirit Creating sacred container through traditional protocols Working with the medicine as a teacher rather than a substance Integration practices that ground visionary experiences
What Makes Our Approach Unique
Complementing these ancient traditions, we incorporate modern understanding of trauma, nervous system regulation, and psychological integration. This includes: Trauma-informed facilitation techniques Specialized Trauma Release Exercises Somatic experiencing principles Attachment theory and its applications to healing This integration of contemporary frameworks ensures that traditional wisdom is accessible and applicable to modern lives and challenges. The African-Amazonian Bridge While many retreats focus exclusively on either African or Amazonian traditions, our approach creates a unique bridge between these powerful lineages. This synthesis offers participants the opportunity to experience: The community-centered healing emphasis of African traditions The profound visionary potential of Amazonian plant medicine The grounding and embodiment practices unique to West African spirituality The expansive consciousness facilitated by Ayahuasca This combination creates a particularly balanced container that supports both transcendent experience and practical integration. Waterfall Cleansing Ceremonies One of our most distinctive offerings is the traditional waterfall cleansing ceremony integral to our Ghana retreats. This powerful purification ritual: Prepares the energetic body for deeper medicine work Clears accumulated emotional and spiritual debris Restores natural energetic boundaries Facilitates direct communication with water spirits This ceremony, rarely found in other retreat contexts, creates an essential foundation that significantly enhances subsequent plant medicine experiences. Trauma-Informed African Spiritual Practice We've pioneered an approach that bridges traditional African spiritual technologies with contemporary understanding of trauma and nervous system regulation. Our specialized protocol includes: African-derived grounding practices adapted for trauma sensitivity Rhythmic integration techniques that regulate the nervous system Ancestral connection practices that address intergenerational trauma Community witnessing protocols that provide containment for deep release This trauma-informed approach ensures that participants can safely access profound states of consciousness while maintaining agency and embodiment. Dual Cultural Contexts By offering retreats in both Ghana and Spain, we provide unique opportunities to experience healing in different cultural and geographical contexts: Ghana Immersion Our West African retreats allow participants to work with plant medicine on ancestral soil, surrounded by the living traditions that inform our approach. The vibrant cultural context and connection to local communities enhances the sense of belonging and ancestral connection central to deep healing. Perhaps most distinctive about our approach is the careful balance we maintain between honoring traditional protocols and creating accessible experiences for modern seekers. We believe that ancestral wisdom belongs in contemporary life, not as a museum piece but as a living, evolving body of knowledge that can address today's challenges. Our facilitators are both traditionally trained and conversant in contemporary healing modalities, able to translate between worldviews while maintaining the integrity of the traditions we work with. This means participants receive authentic ceremonial experiences without cultural barriers that might otherwise prevent full engagement with the healing process.
"Our approach isn't about adopting exotic practices or appropriating traditions. It's about creating a container where the profound wisdom of African spiritual technologies can meet you exactly where you are, offering pathways to wholeness that honor both ancestral knowledge and your unique contemporary journey."

Safety & Support
Our Commitment to Your Wellbeing Your safety—physical, emotional, and spiritual—is our highest priority. We have developed comprehensive protocols drawing from both traditional wisdom and modern best practices to create a secure container for your transformative journey. Experienced Facilitation Expert Guidance Our ceremonies are led by Akua Ofosuhene, who brings over 15 years of experience working with plant medicines and African spiritual traditions. Supporting facilitators are extensively trained in both traditional lineages and modern crisis management, ensuring knowledgeable guidance throughout your journey. Sacred Space Holders During ceremonies, our team maintains specific facilitator-to-participant ratios (never exceeding 1:5) to provide personalized attention when needed. Our facilitators are present throughout the night, ready to offer physical assistance, emotional support, or spiritual guidance as your experience unfolds. Cultural Authenticity Unlike retreats that appropriate practices without proper understanding, our ceremonies are conducted with full cultural integrity. Each facilitator has received proper permission and training from elders within the traditions we practice, ensuring authentic and respectful ceremony spaces. Comprehensive Screening Process Medical Screening Prior to acceptance, all participants complete a detailed medical questionnaire reviewed by our consulting healthcare professional. This screening identifies potential contraindications with plant medicine, including certain medications, health conditions, and psychological factors. Psychological Assessment Our application process includes a psychological screening to ensure plant medicine work is appropriate for your current mental health status. This helps us identify those who might benefit from different healing modalities before working with Ayahuasca. Personal Consultation Every participant receives a one-on-one video consultation with a facilitator before arriving. This allows us to address specific concerns, answer questions, and begin building the trust essential for deep healing work. Preparation & Integration: The Full Journey Pre-Retreat Support Your journey begins weeks before you arrive with our structured preparation program: Customized dietary guidelines based on your health assessment Daily meditation and intention-setting practices Educational materials about plant medicine and African spiritual technologies Regular check-ins with our preparation support team Unique Preparatory Rituals Our retreats incorporate distinctive preparatory ceremonies that ease the transition into deeper work: Waterfall cleansing ceremonies that purify the energetic body Traditional African grounding rituals that establish protection Community-building circles that create cohesion and safety among participants Comprehensive Integration Framework We're pioneers in structured integration support, offering a multi-layered approach: Daily processing circles during the retreat to metabolize experiences Specialized Trauma Release Exercises to embody insights One month of post-retreat integration calls with trained facilitators Access to our private community platform for ongoing support Integration workbook with specific practices tailored to African spiritual technologies Physical Safety Protocols Medical Support We maintain partnerships with local healthcare providers near our retreat locations in both Ghana and Spain. Our on-site emergency kits exceed standard requirements, and at least two team members are certified in emergency medical response. Quality Medicine Our plant medicines are sourced from trusted indigenous providers with whom we've built long-term relationships. Each batch undergoes testing for purity and potency before being used in ceremony. Protective Setting Our retreat locations are carefully selected for both natural beauty and practical safety considerations: Private, secluded grounds with controlled access Comfortable facilities with modern amenities Natural surroundings that support the healing process Proximity to medical facilities while maintaining privacy Emotional & Spiritual Safety Trauma-Informed Approach All facilitators are trained in trauma-informed care, recognizing that plant medicine can bring deeply buried experiences to the surface. Our specialized Trauma Release Exercises provide concrete tools for processing difficult material that may arise. Energetic Protection Drawing on traditional African spiritual technologies, we implement specific protection practices before, during, and after ceremonies: Traditional space-clearing rituals that ensure energetic hygiene Ancestral invocation practices that call in supportive guidance Spiritual boundary maintenance techniques shared with participants Small, Intimate Groups We limit our retreats to 12 participants maximum, creating a contained environment where each person receives the attention they need. This intimate setting fosters deeper community support while allowing facilitators to closely monitor each person's process. Ethical Standards Transparency We maintain clear communication about all aspects of our work, from ingredient sources to financial practices. Our pricing structure is straightforward, with no hidden costs or pressured upselling during vulnerable states. Boundaries We uphold strict ethical boundaries between facilitators and participants, with clear guidelines provided during orientation. Our code of conduct ensures all interactions remain professional, compassionate, and appropriate. Cultural Respect & Reciprocity We acknowledge the origins of the traditions we work with through: Financial contributions to cultural preservation initiatives in Ghana Direct support of indigenous plant medicine communities Educational efforts that properly credit traditional knowledge sources
"True safety in ceremony comes not just from protocols, but from the integrity, experience, and presence of those holding space. Our team brings generations of wisdom together with modern understanding to create a container where deep healing can happen with confidence."
